Adrenaline junkies will love the snowmobiling and heli skiing opportunities available throughout the Rocky and Purcell mountain ranges. Exercise enthusiasts can get their fix cross country skiing or snowshoeing through the gorgeous scenery or try their hand on the Whiteway, the world’s longest ice skating trail on Lake Windermere. For the less adventurous a day spent relaxing in the rejuvenating Radium Hot Springs may be just what the doctor ordered.
The Village of Radium Hot Springs is pedestrian friendly and offers visitors a traditional small town experience with shopping along main street. Friday nights throughout the summer months in Radium Hot Springs feature live music and a farmer’s market right in the heart of the Village. Be sure to stop by the visitor’s information centre (just next to the Mountain Market) for answers to all of your questions about the area!
